StarLiT Crafts

A collection of StarLiT Craft's branding. StarLiT Crafts is a cozy arts and crafts small business focusing on art and crochet with a cutesy aesthetic. The handwritten logo and doodles on the business card is meant to evoke a feeling of familiarity and simplicity. Social media posts feature vibrant colours and bold rounded text.
Most marketing material are solely made by me, but I occasionally work with volunteers when directing short form video content.

BLINK

The process and final look of the "BLINK" logo and its website. BLINK is a hypothetical start-up that aims to revolutionize transportation through teleportation technology. Instead of 1 hour commutes, you could just reach your destination in the blink of an eye. The logo is modelled after the Carbon atom with its two rings and 6 electrons as carbon is a very prominent element found in many lifeforms. The center of the logo is also meant to resemble pupil and iris of an eye, a nod to the name of the start-up. The logo keeps a low key, minimalist, futuristic vibe by having only 2 colours, subtle gradients, and a serif font. The website in turn also goes for a minimalist vibe.This was a group project done between classmates and I. I developed the logo, implementing classmate and professor feedback during its creation process. I also provided partial coding of the website.

The Museum of The Ancient World

The Museum of The Ancient World is a multimedia project of a hypothetical interactive digital museum that brought ancient civilization to life using AR technology. The prototypes, wireframes and design components were created in Figma. I provided 2D illustrations made in Adobe Illustrator, partial coding and web design, and some of the written content on the prototype. Other members designed the website prototype alongside me, provided other illustrations, created the AR experience in Unity, and created a 2D motion graphic promoting the museum.This was a group interactive storytelling assignment for a New Media Studies course. All four professors from the New Media Studies program reviewed the presentation

The Art Box

The Art Box is a prototype of a hypothetical mobile blogging website that focused on promoting resources for artists. The prototypes, wireframes and design components were created in Figma.This was a solo assignment for a New Media Studies course. Professor feedback was sought after and implemented in the final submission.

Ontario Invasive Fish Prevention (OIFP)

The process and final look of the "Ontario Invasive Fish Prevention (OIFP)" logo, graphics, and website. OIFP is a hypothetical non-profit organization whose goal is to control the population of invasive fish in Ontario's lakes through education. The organizations colours and are a mix of cool greens and blue to match the environmental and marine theme. Sans serif fonts were chosen for maximum readability. The logo is a fish illustration with a triple maple leaf branch in front, a nod to Ontario's provincial flag.This was a solo course final project for the New Media Studies joint program at Centennial College.

Safe Travels

After passing through a small town and venturing into the forest outside, a young traveler suffers an injury and can journey no further. As they look up to the sky, the clouds part to reveal a full moon shining down upon the forest. Under the moonlight, the atmosphere seems to shift. Safe Travels is a fantastical 2D animated music video, featuring the music Departure by Sonder.This was my solo New Media Senior project, done under the supervision of the professor and TA.
